Ayushman Jamwal is a Senior News Editor at CNN-News18, and a columnist for leading online and print titles including The Times of India and The Speaking Tree. He is also a poet. Ayushman’s first poetry collection "Chameleon Lights" was featured in the top 10 Poetry Bestseller list 2017 on Amazon.com. His second poetry collection "Silent Sun" is out now. Ayushman was recently honoured with the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize for his work promoting the art of poetry, as well as the Asian Literary Society’s Wordsmith Poetry Prize for his celebrated poem on Triple Talaq titled ‘Am I Not God’s Child?’. He also serves as a Board member of the Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust, established to promote and preserve Dogri, and is the founder of the poetry collective Wings of Verse promoting poetry for a socially conscious society.
