Usha Narayanan is a gold medallist with a master's degree in English literature. She has had a successful career as Creative Director in advertising agencies like RK Swamy/BBDO, one of India’s top ten, and in Radio City 91.1 FM. She managed corporate communications and CSR activities in Scope International, Standard Chartered Bank. Now, she is a full-time author, with her best-selling novels cutting across genres. After her first book, a thriller, she wrote two romances brought out by Harlequin and Juggernaut. Her four mythological novels, published by Penguin, have been praised as ‘Indian mythology at its fiercest and finest’. Her latest is ‘Kartikeya and His Battle with the Soul Stealer’. Usha Narayanan’s eighth book, `Awaken the Durga Within’, combines mythology and motivation to inspire today’s woman. This will be released in October 2018 by Rupa Publications.
